ALERT to Helios Users re XP-SP2 update - tanTALK

ALERT .... ALERT .... ALERT

Just received an call from Helios Tech Support Supervisor regarding this issue.

He advises that Helios Users NOT install the XP Service Pack 2 Update from Microsoft at this time.

Apparently some issues have be detected by Helios on detailed testing. ie ... after amending more than one sales code Helios will abort and close.

Helios are today drafting an email to be sent to all Users asking them to wait for an update to Helios prior to installing the SP2 update from Microsoft.

THIS IS TRUE. I had SP2 installed as soon as it was available, and installed Helios 11 after.
Dongle causes crash if computer is started with it in, and every time you update and save any record it crashes.
And its impossible to remove any information. Works great since SP2 removal.

I also asked for a timeline on when an update will be available to Helios that will resolve this issue and allow SP2 to be installed for XP-Pro ... no estimate available at this time.
