Rep Power: 25 | Helios is offering two full one-day training events for HELIOS V11 in the following cities across North America, during December, January February and March. Other locations and dates may also be scheduled, so check the Training page on the Helios Website (www.gohelios.com) regularly for any additions and changes. Dallas, TX ... Dec 8th/9th Detroit, MI ... Dec 15th/16th Woodstock, ON ... Dec 20th/21st - NOTE: Date Change Denver, CO ... Jan 5th/6th Atlanta, GA ... Jan 12th/13th Los Angeles CA ... Jan 19th/20th Portland, OR ... Jan 26th/27th Phoenix, AZ ... Feb 2nd/3rd Raleigh, NC ... Feb 9th/10th Baltimore, MD ... Feb 16th/17th Nashville, TN ... Feb 23rd/24th Naples, FL ... Mar 2nd/3rd The training on both days will begin at 9am sharp and continue until 5pm. The Owner / Manager training addresses the needs of a new Helios User and also provides an excellent review of the new features and enhancements in Helios V11 for experienced Helios Users. Similar trainings have been held in many locations across the country during the last year and have been attended by individuals new to Helios as well as Salon Owners with over 16 years of experience using Helios. The agenda and topics to be covered in the Owner/Manager Training are as follows: 9:00 am Introduction to Helios and System Requirements 9:30 am Take a Tour of Helios Point of Sale 10:30 am Setting HELIOS System Files: Employees and Passwords 11:00 am Defining HELIOS Settings: System, Equipment and other defaults Noon Lunch Break! 1:00 pm Sales Codes: Worth the price of admission! 3:00 pm Sales, Inventory and Management Reporting 4:00 pm Planning for conversion and/or streamlining your system 4:30 pm Q & A: We’ll be the last out of the room! This training addresses the needs of an Owner and/or Senior Manager. At the end of the day, you will be on your way to setting up and/or streamlining HELIOS to best serve the needs of your business. You will be equipped to return to your salon and provide the necessary training to your Front Counter Staff. The best way to learn is to teach. The Advanced training addresses the needs of experienced Helios Users (may be overwhelming for a new Helios User). The agenda and topics to be covered in the Advanced Training are as follows: 9:00 am Review of NEW Helios features and enhancements 10:00 am Advanced Training on Sales Codes 11:00 am Helios V11 new modules: Credit Card, FingerPrint, Email Broadcasting, EFT Processing Noon Lunch Break! 1:00 pm Detailed review of Helios Reporting and Web Reporting 2:00 am Back Office maintenance functions and SQL (database) Wizard, Smart Mail Wizard 3:00 pm Hardware and Data issues: Limited Accounts, Compact and Repair, Backup etc 4:00 pm Helios WAN (Wide Area Network): Overview of preparation requirements 4:30 pm Q & A: We’ll be the last out of the room!
