The only software that I am familiar with is Sun Ease 2000. After reading many of the posts I see that a lot of salon owners use either Helios or Sun Touch. Are these better than Sun Ease 2000? Can someone link me to a site where I can compare them to Sun Ease? I found websites with demos for the other, but not for Sun Ease. If someone could please give me a link to a site with a Sun Ease 2000 demo I would appreciate it. I want to see if they made any upgrades to the software since I last used it.

SunEase 2k2 or whatever is the same as what you're familiar with. There's not much different once you've converted over from the DOS version. I like the SunEase because it's one of the few that does NOT "pay monthly as you go". I prefer to buy once and be done.

We use Helious at our salon. Love the program.

Sunease is by far the easiest to learn. Cost me "FREE". You pay only $485 after 12 months if you decide to keep it. Support was there, but only had to call twice. We are complete computer dummies, and found using it was as easy as making a P&G sandwich.

I'd like to see INTUIT market a tanning salon version of their Quickbooks Retail POS software.

I think INTUIT could take more than half of the market for tanning salon software withing 3 years of introducing the right Retail POS product. It wouldn't take but a few more years after that for them to take most of what was left of the other half.

SwedaGuy, maybe you need to see a doctor?

I agree Jim. I've used Quickbooks for 6 years without a single problem. I also use the assisted payroll feature.
