Moisturizer question

Okay so I know after I get out the shower I'm supposed to put lotion on everywhere to help keep my tan healthy. So I was wondering what are some good lotions to use? I've been using Banana Boat Moisturizing Aloe AfterSun lotion....is that one any good?

Moisturize 2X daily.

One of my favorites is Swedish Beauty's Endless. There are many good moisturizers and results will be different with each person.

Stay out of the retail giants, and go to a respectable local tanning salon. The staff of a GOOD salon will be able to point you in the right direction.

OMG... Banana Boat? Seriously? Read the ingredients, I prey it does not contain mineral oil. I also hope you are not using any of the low grade goo in a tanning bed.

The salon you go to probably stocks a good moisturizer geared toward tanners. They wont bleach the tan out and have the right ingredients to help you develop a better tan in conjunction with a good tanning lotion.

Banana Boat was all I had in the house so I've just been using that. I didn't know it was bad to use. I use Designer Skin Believe in me for my tanning lotion.

I just read the ingredients and it DOES contain mineral oil. Why is that bad to use? I've only been tanning for a month so I'm new to all of this.

Mineral oil is a CARCINOGEN.

Also it dries out your skin BIG time. Have you skipped a day putting it on? Most notice when they forget to apply a bad moisturizer their skin feels dry and tight during the first few hours of the day. By the way, does it have an SPF rating too?

Read all of this and then decide if you want mineral oil (aka baby oil) on your skin. Skin feels nice when you first apply it since it pulls water to the surface of the skin (dries out).

What are you using for a tanning lotion in the bed?

Ok, looked it up. At least it has no SPF. That would totally negate tanning.

Hempz Herbal by Supre is a great moisturizer. Also Total Luxury by Devoted Creations. Either can be found at your finer tanning salons.

We sell 2 Designer Skin moisturizers that customers absolutely love. Angel and Undercover Angel. The difference between them is the fragrance. Angel is Kiwi Pear and Unercover Angel is Fresh Clean fragrance. But my customers and staff swear by this stuff. I personally use Designer Skin Magnificio. It cost a lil bit more than the other stuff, but definately worth it.
