my reed switches are on the rinse cylinder, which has be bypass( water goes directly to the nozzles and spiral overhead) is it required to "play" with the switched or just leave them alone?

Sorry I've never had problems with reed switches. But they are bypassed? Never heard of such a thing.

waterlines are not connected to the rinse piston, the reed switches for overdrive limiting, are located on them not the lotion cylinders as per repair pages from sunless

http://www.sunlesssystems.com/mystic_meter_repairs.htm

hey it's working, It's a moot point, i as just curious

I don't know how your mystic can be working properly if the rinse cylinder is being bypassed. I suggest you get the unit running properly at all levels. Spray, rinse, etc.

it rinses great, the rinse is petting pressure from the water hose pressure, not the piston.

the piston appears to just be the 4th leg so the plates don't twist.

no water lines are on the nipples/barbs

and it holds the reed switches...

Re: wanted mystic cylinders new

your water piston has been "bypassed" because those pistons are more expensive and corrode from hard water. If it was bypassed right then you still have rinse down threw the booth and nozzles so everthing works fine

correct, so the water piston was never required, over engineered

Re: wanted mystic cylinders new

The manufacturer cylinder is by SMC. I use them all of the time instead of directly from Sunless Inc. $24 each for the spray cylinders.

Xb6 is missing from that part number. Think these are wrong. The base is different.??
