Rep Power: 0 | New Salon Location - need multiple beds We are opening a new location. Looking for 4 level 1, 3 level 2, 1 standup and 1 HP bed. Currently we have access to Tan America 3200 and 4200 for 1/2 level beds so we will probably stick with those, but we also need a good medium/high-end stand up and lie down bed. Considering sundazler/suncapsule for standup and one of the ergolines for the HP bed. Open to ideas and if you can offer a good deal on something you have. Looking to purchase ASAP. Salon is in Austin Area. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: New Salon Location - need multiple beds luxtans, forget about the Tan America beds, and go with what Sunsexy has to offer; A great mix for a startup salon. Also pay no attention to what broanzman11 says about diversifying. At this point in time it would be a waste of your money buying a leg tanner and formastar. If it caused your sales to go through the roof, then you would have to repair the roof. lol |

Rep Power: 52 | Re: New Salon Location - need multiple beds Oh really? Why exactly would you say that? Specifically. With the all out attack on the tanning industry, diversification is the only way to not only survive, but to also thrive. Sunsexy is offering a very nice mix of beds, absolutely. My point was to add to your typical tanning bed mix to draw in the non traditional tanners & take customers away from your competition. I did about $10,000 a month in added revenues w/just one Formostar.

Rep Power: 52 | Re: New Salon Location - need multiple beds And yes, I sell Formostars as well as Leg Tanners, but the facts are the facts ..... Airbrush Spray Tanning, Red Light Therapy ...... look into diversification. Roof is still in good shape btw. :)

Rep Power: 22 | Re: New Salon Location - need multiple beds I think when opening a new salon, one should concentrate more on tanning, then move into other areas. Get your feet on the ground, before getting them wet. |

Rep Power: 52 | Re: New Salon Location - need multiple beds That's a good point. There's definitely part of me that agrees w/that. I guess having been a salon owner for 15+ years, I grew so frustrated w/the constant bashing of our industry & now all the legislative restrictions that I just feel strongly about diversification as a way to "fight back". I understand your point of view. I guess there's two ways of looking @ it. It may be better to start off w/a more diverse offering?
