Need a Ballast - tanTALK

For my starpower 54. Is it worth looking or should i just put bed in dumpster?

I guess i should have clarified myself. I need the entire balast tray that slides under bed. Mine caught fire. Basically i need the guts of the unit.

Look for a full bed - cheap. Normally what is "wrecked" on a bed like that is going to be the plastics, bad acrylics, needs new lamps etc. But normally the ballast tray is ok. So you may be able to find one that is a junker, cosmetically, but buy it for the tray.

OR - sell your cosmetics off. The plastic canopy lid -- $800 new. So there may be people looking for the parts.
