Winning the vitamin D argument

I've heard from many people that "sunbeds mostly produce UVA and you can't get D - and besides I barely get tan in 1 session" -- and you'll see this "substantiated" in web sites like this:

The problem with posting all the "vitamin D is important" studies is that there are a lot of people believing that tanning doesn't create vitamin D bc it's "fake" sun or for 10 different reasons.

However, if you actually look at published academic research (in 1982 - pre-tanning-hate era) in major journals (The British Journal of Dermatology -- of all things) you will see that tanning (even with low UVB beds) DOES cause a significant increase in UVB

So, argument won - just FYI:
