Vitamin D May Reduce Colorectal Cancer Mortality Researchers from the National Institutes of Health have reported that higher circulating vitamin D levels may reduce the risk of death from colorectal cancer. The details of this study appeared in the November 7, 2007 issue of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute.1
