Smile Re: Tanning for psoriasis

I have struggled with psoriasis since I was 8 and in high school tanning for prom discovered it cleared it up. After having my son though I went full blown with psoriasis and had it from head to toe just like the man mentioned in a previous post. It took me a bit to talk my husband into paying for tanning but thanks to tanning it is clearing it all up. I go in the typical lay down bed for 15 minutes now and am going 5 days a week and every now and again I go in the upright to hit the spots that are in a shadow zone.

YOu want to make sure that they get the most exposure to UVB lights it will be the most effecitve. I have been tanning now for barely over a month and am almost completely cleared up. All I have to say is thank you for tanning beds. It would have cost me a fortune at the dr's office

Re: Tanning for psoriasis

Figi blend has a lotion made for psoriasis sufferers.
Believe it or not, Omega 3 is the one. It does have one side effect tho. Its a heavy bronzer and it is expensive. (still not as bad as the derm sessions or meds)
They also make Tandori for eczema sufferers and buzz for acne sufferers as well as hidden treasures which is hypoalergenic for people sensitive to lotions. Good stuff to have on your shelves IMO.
I have a guy who came in covered real bad, especially his neck and elbows. I started him like any tanner in our high uvb booth, by skin type. I never let him burn and he was totally psoriasis free after 6 weeks. He loved it so much, he has bought 3 bottles so far and now just tans because he likes it. Then his wife started tanning and so did his mom. He has a real nice tan, which is what I told him the side effect would be, but he's ok with it...wish i had asked to take before and after pic because it really was a dramatic change. Just thought I would pass on the info as it took me awhile to get the answers.
Highly recommended!
