The ironic thing is that no one will pay their co-pay to tan...realistically, $10- 40/session three- four times/week... making an appt at a Dr's office, you know how that wait is so forget about "tanning" on your lunch hour... oh, and they are only open Mon- Fri, no holidays and likely 9am- 5pm... So they make it a med device to be administered by Dr's... people will be driven to the SUN, for FREE - It would prove the AMA and AAD, SOOOOOOOO wrong that I cannot fathom it is even worth worrying about- OUT themselves to the public all at once... nah! We should do it for them- get the news out, let folks form new opinions, be responsible with their skin and watch as the news slowly gets out, you'll have their trust (for good reason) and their continued business...

The salon owners would have to actually talk to one another (oh no)...okay maybe only 3 people per city would have to..... you can have 3 salon owners per city chair the efforts..and start your fund to talk to consumers...getting the possitive message out to consumers is soooooo important!

Salon owners need to contribute....noone is riding in on the white horse...get over it.

All I’m saying is be careful it will only take a small group of doctors to say the tanning industry is practicing medicine without a license to start something, and have the class 2 changed to a class 1. How do you think the regulation of tanning started? I would not want to see the industry regulated out of business.
