I'm running into a problem when entering new clients. Everything seems normal until I press F10, then I get the potential duplicates warning. I hit cancel, then I get an error message saying something about duplicate info and indexes.?Ken

Ken, I was going to send you the file to synchronize, but looks like you got it already. Another testament to Helios tech support, according to the times of your postings. Even while they are relocating.Good job, Helios techs. You guys Rock!!

I could use this synchronize file. I am doing some work for a salon and have made a temporary workaround by entering "new" clients directly into the database since we are able to update existing clients and save. Just cannot enter new clients through Helios8. Can someone send me the synch file? Thank you.

Been about 4 years since I had that utility for V8 ... all it does is set the CNum field in the Numbers tables in H7.mdb (this applies to V8 not current versions) to be equal to the highest client number.

So determine what the highest number is and set the CNum field accordingly.

Your client should REALLY upgrade to V11.

Thank you Andy. Was a three minute fix in the end. My client had actually attempted to contact you yesterday regarding this too. She asked me to tell you "Thanks".

Glad it worked out ... hope she will be upgrading to V11 soon ... hate to see people left in the dust.

Hey Andy, I think we still need to get that sych file. Now the receipts are printing and showing extra items that were not charged. It isn't charging for anything but the items that were supposed to be, but it is making the receipts have multiple transaction lines for one charge. Any thoughts?
