This is probably a dumb question to some, but here goes: Is there a way to reset the "package is expired" and "customer cannot tan before 00:00 time" warning boxes when you pull up their name, rather than when you set the timer? I find myself holding my breath as I hit enter after setting time because chances are the customer is halfway to the bed before the warning box comes up! Thanks ahead of time, this is becoming a major annoyance for us and is hindering the flow of traffic.

Hi scared - the only dumb question is the one you do not ask.If you are getting a "Package has expired" message then the number of days that you allowed on the Minutes/Sessions or Membership have elapsed. If you wish to grant an extension you could use Master Edit (Ctrl + M) with the appropriate Owner/Manager password - with the applicable Client Profile displayed - go change the expiration date as desired and Save (F10) the client profile - and exit Master Edit. The "Customer can not tan before 00:00 time" (I am assuming 00:00 is an example - it would also display the date) displays because in the Equipment Preferences (View - Preference - Equipment) the Hours between use on the bed selected are set to number of hours greater that the elapsed time since the clients last tan. 24 hours is the default in the field when you are setting up the beds.If a client tanned at say 4:00pm yesterday and comes in today at 3:00pm they will have to wait an hour. If you and legistation in your area allows a slight overlap you might wish to decrease the "Hours between use" on each bed to say 21 hours (just an example - use your judgement here guided by legistation in your area). If you allow clients to share packages on one client profile you will have to set Hours between Use to "0".Check out our Workshop Schedule - we will be organizing our Workshops across North America to attempt to have training in major cities on a quarterly basis. Hope to see you there.ACT On-Site Training and Workshops By the way "scared", when the time comes - Reregister as "In Control". Thanks for the post "scared" - hope this helped.[ July 15, 2001: Message edited by: Andy @ ATSO.ca ]

Andy, I think you missed the point of the question. "Scared" wants the warning to come up as soon as the client is brought up. That's reasonable. The way it is now, the warning comes up only when you set the bed. And we are all used to occasionally sending the client back to the room before we set the bed. I've done it too and you have to yell back the hallway, "Hey, Helen, come back, you're out of sessions!"

Gene, you can also set the warning in System Defaults to alert when packages of Minutes or Sessions are below a value. That alert will happen when the client is brought up in Client Profile. The alert related to last tanning time is generated by the bed. It is immediate upon selecting the bed, if you wish to wait until the client approaches the room before completing the tanning transacton fine - but you will get this alert as soon as you begin the transaction.Hope this helps as well
