Rep Power: 0 | Oh contraire ChicagoMBA,Helios History 101Our software used to retail for $895. Our customers then had the option to sign up for technical support for $29.99 a month. About a year ago we dropped the retail cost of the software thus making it free.Helios Math 101The correct cost breakdown is as follows:NEW CUSTOMER (signing up on the 17th of the month)Prorated first month $14.55Copy protection device deposit $25.00Shipping & handling $ 7.00Total start up cost $46.55EXISTING CUSTOMER (who has cancelled within last 12 months) Enrollment fee $299.00Prorated first month $ 14.55Copy protection device deposit $ 25.00Shipping & handling $ 7.00Total start up cost $345.55 EXISTING CUSTOMER (who has cancelled over 12 months ago) Enrollment fee $ 999.00Prorated first month $ 14.55Copy protection device deposit $ 25.00Shipping & handling $ 7.00Total start up cost $1045.55Helios Economics 101A new Helios user can receive our software for free when they initially sign up on the monthly Software Maintenance Agreement (SMA) for $29.99 a month. Since you can cancel the SMA at anytime with a 30 day notification, a new user could have unlimited use of Helios for a total of $76.54.If the user stays active on the SMA they would continue to receive future updates and upgrades for no additional cost for about $1 a day ($29.99/mo). In addition, they are also entitled to free technical support. To put this in “salon terms” it would be like having a tanner sign up on a membership, allowing them to cancel the next day then letting them tan for forever – FREE!!! Rep Power: 0 | Chipp,Unfortunately your concern is an issue you need to take up with your government. Personally, I don't think it's very fair that my family health insurance is over $500 a month, however, I choose to live in the United States so I have to accept that fact. |
