You can get at the Helios Utilities for Backup etc from the Programs list for Helios9, but if you wish to place a shortcut Icon on the Desktop - here one way to do it.Go to "Start", "Programs", "Helios9" - see the "Utilities" item - Right Click on it and select "Create Shortcut" - Windows will create a "Utilities (2)" item.Click on Show Desktop on your QuickLaunch Toolbar (or minimize all windows). Drap the "Utilities (2) item to the Desktop (hold the left mouse button down with the item hightlighted and drap to Desktop and release) Now you can rename it to "Helios9 Utilities" if you wish (Right Click on it - Rename - etc)Andy

Andy,You can do this a little easier, without the dragging. Instead of right clicking on "Create Shortcut", right click on "Send To", then select "Desktop". This will automatically create a Shortcut AND put it on the Desktop. This also works in Windows Explorer.Fred Quote:Originally posted by Andy @ COMPUBits:You can get at the Helios Utilities for Backup etc from the Programs list for Helios9, but if you wish to place a shortcut Icon on the Desktop - here one way to do it.Go to "Start", "Programs", "Helios9" - see the "Utilities" item - Right Click on it and select "Create Shortcut" - Windows will create a "Utilities (2)" item.Click on Show Desktop on your QuickLaunch Toolbar (or minimize all windows).
