SBeth,Have you loaded Helios onto your computer yet? Does the chip looking thing have what appears to be a plug on both sides that resembles a printer port on the back of your computer?Michael

The crypto-box is what is called a "dongle" /dong'gl/ (From "dangle" (because it dangles off the back of the computer)?) A security or copy protection device for commercial microcomputer programs that must be connected to an I/O port of the computer while the program is run. Programs that use a dongle query the port at start-up and at programmed intervals thereafter, and terminate if it does not respond with the expected validation code. This dongle allows you to move Helios between computers easily and not mess with unlock codes, etc. This dongle is the key to your program so be sure not to loss it.On the CD is a tutorial and videos that show how to use Helios.Hope this helps.Michael

ok...thanks for trying here...so all I need to do is hook up the dongle is that right? See like I said before I am no computer wiz...so I might need step by step instructions if you want to bother with me!

Sbeth,Really it's not as hard as you think. Plug the dongle into your parallel port (the one your printer plugs into) and your printer into the dongle. Load Helios by selecting the setup file on the disk and take it from there. It would probably be best for you to call tech support and have them walk you through it. Good luck.

There is a tutorial on the CD, unable to recall what is's name is but it is there, being non-computer savy perhaps you should get a young relative of 10 to 18 too help you out.
