I understand what you are saying .,.. but at worst that would allow ONE single session per day assuming you have the appropriate controls on the equipment.

So they have the difference between the package value and single session as a daily profit through a criminal act ... I expect there are easier and more profit methods of theft that do not leave as clear an audit trail as this one.

That is just a example. There are several other ways that this can be done. You now have the possibility of it happening any time you have a free tan coupon, or referal coupon etc....
I am asking you if you know where the fingerprint files are and what format they are in??? Not if you think it is an easy way for the employee to steal.

regarding the format ... look in the Client database if you need that info

Suntouch is their single store solution. Salontouch is for networking multiple locations together. You basically combine the database of each salon into one combined database. You will need to get SQL Server or the SQL database alternative called MSDE from Microsoft. You should set up a VPN utilizing software or by using routers with integrated VPN technology. To connect to the store you can use Microsofts remote desktop or software like PC Anywhere. If you are not a computer whiz you will probably want to hire someone to set up your network for you.
