T-max The manager not showing anything - tanTALK

t-max the manager got shocked while trying to set a bed. Now the digital display screens are blank. Now the red light is next to show beds 57-64 instead of 1-8.

Try recycling the timer to see if it will come back.

tried that that didnt fix the problem. The manual says that the device has lost its programming but the device will not communicate with the computer to be able to do anything with it

another tanning salon down and out because of a faulty design that should be replaced by better technology! Just a blight on our industry!

Who wired the salon seem to me there was a high voltage to the manager thru the TMAX timer, most mistake are made there as putting the wrong voltage to the wrong terminal.Get someone who work on a tanning salon that know what there are doing.Now it going to cost you lot of $$$$$

Thanks for the info. T-max support never returned my call. I called a "repair" man who had no clue what he was doing. He just kept calling other people to have them tell him what to do. He ended up selling me another t-max that was an older model than mine. Took him over three hours to fix everything. He even ripped the receivers off the wall because they were not so many feet above the bed (this was like that for 6 years before I took over) Now they are just thrown over the walls dividing the rooms. It looks awful! In the end cost me over $500

500.00 is just the start.........dont know were you are located but you need to fine somone who work on tanning equipment and know what he doing , you are alway looking for help and asking for way to fix your self or pass on to someone who think he know what he doing ... better to say 500.00 well spent.
