Trouble with T-Mam Manager Pro

My computer crashed, "luckily" it was the mother board so my data was still there.
I got a new PC, reinstalled XP and Helios 11.x. Unfortunately, it is nearly impossible to find a PC with a serial port, so installed a serial card adapter, I also have a USB to Serial adapter.
The PC sees both the serial and USB to serial ports.
When I run "Auto Detect Timer" Helios finds the timer, but when I start a session I get "Helios cannot communicate with the timer" message.
I have a back up beater PC for emergencies like this, and it can't be used for much longer. That one has a serial port and works fine with the T-Max Manager Pro for now. So the manager is working.
Any help is appreciated.

Make sure the cable is compadable with the computer, going from the manager to computer.

Wink Re: Trouble with T-Mam Manager Pro

I got the bed manager working. I downloaded the Adnet utilities from T-Max/Appdig.com. Both serial and usb ports are working.
The cable is fine, it works with the back up PC, "Sparky".
