Solaris 332 H series

Ive got a solaris 332 h series that the wire and recepticle for the canopy have melted. I removed the recepticle and hardwired the bed. Prior to the melting, the cooling fans came on and would not turn off. I thought it was because of the faulty connection. Ive checked all wiring and connections and all good. Any suggestions or help?
