Oldschool software, what was the first? MS-Tan? Tass? Tan

I'm trying to get a feel for the history of tanning controllers and salon software. Most of this was before the internet was common and nobody cared much to keep track of the orphan stuff. I wish I had a stack of old tanning trends or something to flip through, since I love old ads, but here goes:

1. What was the first salon software to actually count sessions, and connect to a bed (or I suppose control tokens or door access)? What were the early players?

2. Even now on the internet, there's a manual for the MS-Tan, and references to SunMate and Tass? When did they come out? What could they do?

Tass and MS tan were the same thing. It became ms tan later. Ran on DOS and controlled questar timer system which was available at the time. Before that timer systems were basically rigged up mechanical timers up front and your database was a card system.

I used this system when I started in 1986.

Wow! MS Tan, that is a blast from the past. Transitioned form that to Sunlync and it's a whole new world now... But when we were using that, there were salons still on a card system.

Any clue where I could find ads/manuals/disks for some of the old software? I posted a wanted ad already, but if there's any other ideas I'm all ears.
