Re: Tan Tracks issues-STILL Let me tell you folks about a mess which was created indirectly by Nichsoft (Tantrack) last July. It all started with me thinking that I wanted to delete my old customer files using the internal program within tantrack to do this. What compounded the problem was I thought I had good backup, but i didn't (my fault). I deleted my old customer records from an earlier date and thought everything worked as it should. It didn't work as it should have and I lost most of my active customer base. (Tantrack's fault) Well I knew I couldn't sit around picking my nose, so William was able to get to my transactions (sessions used) and my sales reports printed off for me, and we set out to re-establish my customer files and get them current. I hired a full time person who worked 7 days straight, and at least 8-10 hours a day to get this done. I had vacation planned that week, so I couldn't be there. This person did one heck of a job and I got no reimbusement from Nichsoft for their error in the software. I wasn't happy, but you can't cry over spilled milk. We grabbed the bull by the horns and fixed what needed fixing. It's that plain and simple. Do what needs to be done, and quit complaining. |
