MYSTIC T-MAX ISSUE. PLEASE HELP :(

Hello,

We have a 2003 mystic (Old Version) which worked perfectly fine up until a couple of days ago. Long story short we had a contractor in here laying new floors and he unplugged our t-max manager pro and one of our 10 minute beds stopped working but every other bed including the mystic still worked. In order for me to fix the problem i re configured the whole t-tax manager but I cannot figure out what is going on with the mystic. I have plugged in the t-tax mystic display and the screen reads 8.8. when i called mystic they said it could be the program chip but I think they are trying to get money out of me seeing as it worked even after the contractor had been in. Any help would be great as we are losing a lot of business due to the fact it is down. Is there a way to run it manually for the time being?

I'm kind of new to the tanning game but want to learn.

Thanks

Johnny :)

Re: MYSTIC T-MAX ISSUE. PLEASE HELP :(

Hi,
ok this 8.8 means that there is no communication to your manager, or the chip is gone. However this is a comms chip which is about 8$. Now the contractor, did he chop into the t max telephone cable while there was power going to it? Or was there a power outage or intermittent failure as i Have been to salons with 4-5 out of 8 comms chips fried due to electrical power failure (storms). If you had another t-max wall plate in the salon you could use it. I have chips. You need the T max at the mystic to be able to fire it up, or if you open the main control box (grey) on the maintenance panel inthe maintenance room of the mystic you will see a toggle switch which will change to manual. meaning you bypass the timer, this will allow you to go manually and keep the business rolling. Let me know how it goes.
