Rep Power: 0 | MAJOR tmax problem! So here is my problem. Got a t max the manager and 6 beds hooked to it. Been running that for probably 5 years plus. The other day I had a storm and came in and all I saw were dashes where bed times were supposed to be. I unhooked it and rebooted it....same thing. I unhooked bed 1 in the daisy chain snd put it right to the manager. Bed one works fine. As soon as you plug bed 2 in it won't ley bed 1 work. I tried bed 5 & 6 and the manager sees both of those fine. Soooo I ran the daisy chain backward to test my wires and it goes from bed 2 to 1 to 6 fine. That blows me away it can read 2 to 1 but not from 1 to 2. Any ideas? I've changed all comm chips in every bed and the manager and they are all in correctly. No damaged wires we can see either. If anyone can help I'd be sooooooo greatful! |

The others you;ll probabally have to replace the 3 As. Check with support first. Got hit by lightning a couple of years ago - had the same problem. | |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: MAJOR tmax problem! Bad cable. If all are working then it is a bad cable. If you are plugging it into room two and it sees room two and one but if you plug it in at the front and it doesn't see the other way then it is a cable. Could also be just one port on the first timer works. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: MAJOR tmax problem! take an extra tmax cable and run it from your bed 1 to bed 2. If everything works fine now, you got a bad cable in the wall. You probably already did this, but have you turned off the tmax in room 2 and turned it back on. Have had issues like this before where the 3A more or less needed to be rebooted as well as the manager up front. I would say you have a bad cable between somewhere. |
