I made a huge mistake. My manager has access to everything including master edit, sales codes, etc. She has been working for us since 2005. Can she delete transactions completely or manipulate the software without leaving a trace. I have caught her with bogus sales codes but now I looked at sales to sessions. In May 2009 we did 18 sessions more and 8,300 less in sales compared to 2005 and in April we did 251 less in sessions and 10,488 less in sales compared to 2005. I have another salon that she isn't involved in and it is fine. Both salons have the same pricing. We actually went up in price since 2005. It doesn't make sense. What could she have done with the software? I,m going crazy trying to figure this out. She was Fired!

Just from those rudimentary numbers, it sounds like the worst she could be doing is discounting sales. Sometimes your tanning sessions can be up from a previous year but the sales can be down (due to people having previously-purchased packages in the system). Those numbers don't seem like the usual fluctuation, though.

Any changes she made in the system aren't permanent, though. You can run a "Sales Code" Management Report and see exactly what sales codes exist in the system. If any codes are there that you don't like, you can delete one at a time in the menu "Settings"->"Sales Code..." by entering the sales code (from the report) and deleting it (F6).

I would definitely suggest limiting the access to your managers in the future just to ensure that nothing gets changed without your approval. When you create new users in the system, you can control exactly what they can and cannot access.

Have you run the "Profile Audit" report? It details passwords used for Master Edits. Deleted transactions will show up in detail reports for the day they were deleted.
