Help!! Helios Salon Software 1.1.3.8 - How to change payment method options? - tanTALK

Hello Everyone.

Trying to figure out how I can change the payment method options in Helios. If anyone can offer some help or guidance it would be greatly appreciated!

My problem exactly is this. We do not accept checks & that is one of the payment methods listed. I would like to change this to debit instead. In the payment method options this is what is listed:

1) Cash
2) Check ( I would like this changed to debit if possible?? )
3) Credit Card
4) Gift Certificates
5) In House Charge
6) Bonus Bucks
7) Prepaid Dollars
8) Split Payment

Run those debit transactions under credit.

No. Your merchant provider will know by the card number where to charge you for a credit or debit transaction fee.

The choices are there to provide separation for balancing shift reports.

Debit cards are processed through Merchant Services, and yo close out the credit card machine at the end of day, with one total and breakdown by cards type.

The total is the amount you would use for shift report, not the breakdown.

When i close my batch at the end of the night on Moneris terminal...it will show me $800 in sales.

When you do the shift report i will show you the exact same thing.

1 - Cash
3 - Credit (all plastic cards run through terminal.....Visa, MC, Amex, Debit.....doesn't matter)

When you balance your till at the end of the night, you count your money and you total your receipts from machine. you don't need separation of debit from CC.
