I screwed up again - "suspended" a client

My blondness knows no end.

This is Helios. I had a customer with a bad credit card yesterday for a lotion purchase. I was trying to talk on the phone at the time I was deleting the charge and somehow ended up suspending it. I can't even find WHERE I suspended it. When I pull him up, it shows at the top "Client Profile (Suspended)". I can't end the sale (it's for a tan on membership - LF-0 in my system), and I can't void it because he's already tanned. Obviously I already voided the lotion purchase....

This wouldn't be problem except than when I clear him and pull someone else, as soon as I finish the new transaction, his account shows up - I have to clear him again every single transaction.

What have I done wrong (besides get w/in 2 feet of a computer) and can I fix it?

I've also tried to delete the account and I KNOW I'VE DONE THAT BEFORE but I'll be darned if I can do it again.

I know there's going to be a VERY obvious simple answer for this - I'll apologize for my stupidity in advance. :(

ETA - "Delete Customer" doesn't show as an option for Client Profile

you suspended the sales transaction. the answer is here somewhere.. do a search. sorry im not at my salon to look at helios and i never do this.

and yes its simple. i think you need to complete the sale then delete. ithink your trying to delete a sale that hasnt been paid 4....not 100% sure though

Thanks CTM - so far:

helios major problem...please help!

is all I've found and it's not very encouraging, lol!

The previous owners somehow managed to put a customer on a bed that doesn't exist so every day I see his name for Bed 8 (there are only 6). I may end up seeing THIS customer's name every day too!!

You should be able to go the toolbar and click transactions on one of the drop down menus (not at work). Then pull up the day of the transaction. Go down the list and find him. Then click on him. Once the transaction is pulled up there is a DELETE button on the bottom of the page. Once it is gone then it is out of the system. Hope this helps.

Did that - it deletes the transaction from the bottom of the customer's main page (where "completed" transactions are) but still shows it at the top of the page where transactions waiting to be ended are. And there's no way to "end" the transaction :(

He came in to tan today and it let me tan him so at the very worst I'll just have to deal with seeing his name all day long ;) But in searching it seems this is a "feature" Helios added - the ability to suspend a transaction - but so far, no clue as to how to UNSUSPEND it.

After the previous owners paying over $3K for Helios support and never being able to get them to respond to my problems, I didn't renew. And TBH, it's not worth $60 a month for them to "fix" it - though if it's a bug they should do it for free. But I'm not holding my breath, lol.

Wow, very strange! Seems like the transaction is voided and deleted so it should go away? WTH! I am sorry if I missed this in an earlier post but have you actually tried to close it out by entering another form of payment? I cannot imagine dealing with that pop up every time you work a customer.
