Re: T-max model-3a timer problem....

39 is the version number and that will show if the address is set to zero and it is not connected to another timer. The zero address is for single station master/slave configuration so you can plug two 3A's together to act as a single station remote unit. The master is addressed to zero and the slave is addressed to one. The slave gets connected to the bed.

If you are just using the timer as a single timer with no manager and no remote then just change the address off of zero. Press the up and start stop buttons until a .1 (point one) is displayed. Release the buttons and then press the start stop once and it will display a flashing zero with a solid point. Press the up button once and it will display a point one with the point solid and the one flashing. Next press the start stop again and it will display a point one, both solid. Next press the up and down buttons and the point will disappear and it will display a zero. The timer will now work.

Note: if this is connected to a manager then unplug the manager first, recycle power on the 3A then set the address to the room number.

Cool Re: T-max model-3a timer problem....

Hello, I sort of have the same problem except the numbers on the plate say 41 and keeps beeping. I followed the instructions for the previous post that had the same problem (it was a 39 in their case) and now it's at point "flashing zero", it's still not working. Any other suggestions?

Re: T-max model-3a timer problem....

HI, I have a TMAX model 3a and am having the same problem, except when I follow Brian's instructions and get to the .1, I don't get a flashing 0. I get a flashing 5.2
I can get the timer to the solid zero and push the down button. I get my 20 min session time and count down starts. Usually the countdown goes and then the bed automatically turns on but now it isn't. The timer finished and the session timer starts but the bed remains off. I have no idea what I did to have this break.
Help please.....Thank you
