db9 on t-max mgr

I bought a new computer and it does not have the db9 (9 pin port) on it. Can i use a db9 to usb cable to hook my t-max mgr up to computer?

A USB to serial adapter DOES work just fine. When I originally asked this question to AppDig I received no response.

I'd just make sure the one you use uses the Prolific chipset as it is widely supported.

I just bought a T-max manager pro used. It doesn't come with any cords. Where can I get the cords/wiring I need for it?
