Unhappy Helios backoffice connection issue

I have Helios 11.6.1 and am trying to get backoffice up and running so I can view the web reports. I am able to get to it locally so Helios has pushed the problem off on Earthlink DSL. Earthlink says they are not blocking port 80. I do not have the windows firewall and we are running Win XP sp1. I am just using AVG free which also does not have a firewall. Anyone have any suggestions what to try next?

Of course they did. Sorry to be sarcastic, but it is frustrating when they don't even attempt to say "Let's see if we can get through this together...."

Cancelled my support agreement because of their unwillingness to take ownership of ANY problem.

Good luck, I wished I could help you.

Re: Helios backoffice connection issue

Could be a firewall in the router. Earthlink (yuk) would have no way of knowing those settings.

Re: Helios backoffice connection issue

Spend the $100 on a geek to set up your system correctly.

Well worth the $$$ spent.

Helios is correct, localhost works so it's set up properly. They have no way of knowing modem settings, router settings, or other issues.

go to a pro, and Git-r-done!
