T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
I just installed a bed in my salon and need to add the timer to the t-max manager and suntouch. It will be in room 1. Right now I am running room 2 as room 1 (because room 1 was empty). SO what I plan on doing is removing the black wire (looks like phone wire) from room 2 (coming from the manager) and moving it to room 1 and go from room 1 to room 2. My question is will the manager notice the "new" room automaticly or is there something I need to do to the mananger to notice the new add on. Also What would I need to do on Sun touch to add the new room 1? Does suntouch recognize it atomaticly from the manager?
Thanks |

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
You will have to redraw your screen in suntouch. (the manual has the directions for ease of use). you will have to turn off your tmax and turn it back on and it should pick up the room.

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
Not really sure what you mean by redraw..But I would just add the new unit manually in suntouch and make that room 1 and change all the others up one right? It's been a while since I've changed something on sun touch regarding equipment...:)

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
it is called redrawing in suntouch.
Did you not have a room 1 at all on your screen? changing all the room numbers will mess up all your reports. for example reports like bed usage, etc. I didnt have equipment in my room 1 but still have it on my screen. Be careful with just adding it to suntouch, it will sometimes mess up your other rooms. I had 3 room 8's for some reason when I first attempted to do this. :) def read the manual...it should be in your computer somewhere.

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
Yes I do have a room 1 on my computer. But room 1 is going to be room 2 as the new bed is going to be room 1. Is there a way you can change the rooms manually on sun touch? I'm not at the salon right now so I can't check. But I thought after the manager detects the new room won't sun touch do it as well?

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
Sun touch is not connected to your beds...just the tmax. the tmax does not know how to tell suntouch you have a new bed. I have extra rooms in suntouch that i dont have in tmax (custom spray, formostar, etc)
so you are moving your beds down a room? or you just swapping room 1 and room 2? (i am a bit confused...sorry)

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
YEs I understand that sun touch is not connected to my beds. Right now I have room 1 on suntouch. The new room is going to be number 1 so the old room 1 will be room 2, the old room 2 will be room 3...etc, etc... SO every room will go up in numbers...Does that make better since? I know it's hard to explain....lol

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
Okay so I got all my timers and rooms all set up....What a pain in the a$$ but I did get it. 1 Question that I have is that when I check in a client that has a membership/package in the new room it goes right into a surcharge fee. Why is that? I went into every tanning membership/package set up to make sure that the new unit is available to every membership. Is there a way to update it so that existing customers that already have memberships/packages will be available for them to use the new unit?
Thanks |

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
when you go into set up and change the packages, it should ask you if you want to update all existing packages...did you click yes? that should update everyone with that package. you can also update all packages by going into a client package and changing the surcharge. it will ask the same thing when you save it.

Re: T-MAx Timer/Sun Touch question
Yes I did click yes to update the existing packages. I also made sure that they it is clicked yes to use. So it does show that u can use it. I just added a package under my name and it works with a new package. Weird. Do u think I need to click update when I go to Set up, stations..On the bottom there is an update button. What does that do? You think that would update everyone's packages?
