Rep Power: 0 | Salon Touch SQL WAN question I would like to know the experiences of anyone who has implemented Salon Touch SQL version on a WAN using the scaled down, free version of SQL server provided in Salon Touch software package (vs the full blown Microsoft SQL Server). The IDI support staff urges you to get a full blown SQL Server but that is not what is advertised when they are trying to sell it. Even though there are advantages to buying a full blown SQL Server, I am having a hard time justifying the cost since I have had to rely on Safe Mode under the access version maybe once or twice in the last five years. Unless, of course, the SQL version of Salon Touch is unstable. Does anyone have any experience with the SQL version of Salon Touch? answer here or PM me. Thanks in advance. |
