salon touch problem. need help

Out of nowhere (well thats what my staff says) salon touch won't let us complete ANY transacations. When we try to tender it says "register transaction may not be completed within this limited edition". I'm gonna call salon touch in the am but I know they are gonna charge me a ton so Im hoping someone knows what is going on and can help and save me $$$

I don't know if I have an older version or not. I'm sure you've thought of these things, but I would check the register section in the handbook. I would reboot my computer, would try to process a transaction & whatever else I could think of before calling them.

Do you have your dongle (is that what that key thing is called) plugged in? Might have fallen out.

Thanks for everyones help, we fixed the problem. That key thing eyecandy mentioned, that was the problem being that SalonTouch still hasen't sent it to me and I guess you need it after 3 months of use. So they had to give me some password to fix the problem until I get the key. You know, you think these companies would tell you these things so problems don't occur. We were all freaking out! Thanks for all the help.

One thing I have noticed with mine, that Suntouch staff hasn't figured out, is i will go to a client, ring in something and then when I go back to their name, it also added a package on them that i did NOT click on in the register!! So, if I don't catch it, people tan free!!! Stoopid Suntouch!
