Helios Client AutoNumber

I recently had to change computer systems and switch Helios over to a new laptop. Version 11.6.1 Ever since i did this today when a new customer comes in, it starts overwriting my current clients. It started with # 11 and now wites over to #12, #13.

Call Helios before you corrupt it all! Its not just client info that is getting over-written.

Did you do a backup then a restore from that on the new computer?

Yes, did a back up and restore. The info was corrupt in the original database when searching on Last Names with A,B,S. So bought a new laptop and it all seems to be fine now except the overwriting clients.

Well even if you have it, like me, its a BIG joke. Those guys are IDIOTS. I think I have a ticket coming up on a year now that has yet to be resolved. Very sad.

well why would anyone wait a year for a resolution! You cant escalate your call to anyone??? i surely doubt that!!! Who has better support then Helios???????

I did. I called MANY times to follow up and even sent e-mails with explanations as to the problem so it could get forwarded on. I have not ONCE received a call back, I had to call in. After 3 months I gave up. Its a problem that ALL salons would face, not just me.

Did you call Scott? If you do that will get it resolved! Helios has always had Presidents that are accessible to their clients! That is a very nice benefit!

I forget who I spoke with. Its was a women. Cheryl or Susan? I totally forget. If you wish to know the issue, there is a post on it in the tech forum. I will see if I can dig it up.
