FST Timer not communicating

A bit of help please...

we have a FST 1600 linked to helios . While setting a bed a popup window appears "timer not communicating". From happening occasionaly to now all the time... We have replaced all cabling as well as the timer..(baud rate 2k) with no change... also replaced the router (2 workstations & server). the popup happens more often on the workstation that said the server isn't imune. Any Ideas?

Tia

Re: FST Timer not communicating

Do you have static network IP address assigned to each workstation AND server?

Re: FST Timer not communicating

Workstation or the server.

Well what exactly is your setup? One is the "server" with the timer, right? Thats the one that is required to have a static IP, can be internal or not. But it has to have one.

On the server in "settings" and then "system" you will find the "site info" tab. The IP of the server has to be in there and set as "server". Workstation ID of 1 and Multi-User setup as LAN normally.

On the workstations the IP as the server has to be entered with "client" turned on and a workstation ID other than 1 and again "LAN".
