Question Relocated Salon and now having t-max/bed issues...HELP!!

Ok....I relocated my salon yesterday. I have had my beds wired up in a different order from what they were in before, and temporarily I only wired up 4 out of my 6 beds.
I plugged in my t-max and it is only seeing 3 out of 4 beds.
It is finding bed 1, 3 and 4. If I disconnect bed one and plug it into bed 2, then for some reason, the t-max will only find that bed and not continue on to bed 3 and 4.
It is also not flashing 99 on the bed, it is sayind i.d. instead. If I press the red button (it's a sunstar 432) the bed resets to zero and then the t-max locates it. But again, nothing else. Then, for some reason, Helios keeps losing the connection to the t-max.

Can anyone help me out? My electrician has told me that the wiring is correct and that he has double checked it.

I need to get this up and running before Monday morning.

Thanks!!

Oh, when I plug in my t-max, it shows 0 35 on it before it starts up.
Is it possible I need a software upgrade for the t-max or something?

Does anyone know what I can manually set the i.d's too on my beds. Can I set the i.d.'s to 1, 2, 3 and 4? or will that confuse the t-max somehow?

3 of my beds are sunvision 28's and 1 is a sunstar 432.
The way the should be wired is bed 1 is a sunvision, bed 2 is the sunstar and beds 3 and 4 are both sunvisions.

I seem to be unable to locate the manual, but there is a way from the T-Max to set global addresses. You punch some stuff in and it resets all the beds. Then you walk to each bed and I *think* press the green button for bed one, then the next bed for 2 and so on. You walk to each bed and set it in the order you want. Look in your book if you have one. If not, I will keep looking.

Just make sure you dont run ad-net and helios at the same time. Not sure what happens, but warned not to for some reason.

Re: Relocated Salon and now having t-max/bed issues...HELP!!

I actually was already doing the auto addressing of the beds, but it would not pick up bed #2 in the chain for me to press the start button on it. The beds would all go to 99 and start beeping except bed 2, it would stay at zero.

For some weird reason, we managed to figure it out....It had something to do with the cables. We changed the cables around and bingo, it worked.
So now all the beds are working again. I don't know why, but for some reason, it must have one particular cable plugged in, and if I take it out and replace it with another one (which I know works) the chain gets broken again. So.........the cable stays!!! LOL....

Thanks again for everyones help!

Cheers.

Re: Relocated Salon and now having t-max/bed issues...HELP!!

ok...I have a new issue today. For some reason, Helios is losing the connection to the timer server. If I send time to a bed, nothing happens and then a little box pops up saying timer not connecting please try again, or something like that.
I do have 2 cables, I have tried changing them, it's still doing the same thing. Works the first time when I first turn on the computer and then boom it's gone. I even tried swaping out another tmax mgr unit. Still doing it. I'm thinking it might have something to do with Helios.

Can anyone help me out?

thanks!!
