Where are you getting 4 percent from? Try 12 percent and growing fast.
But regardless. I quote you: "I have never had a pc virus I couldn't back out or hardware failure beyond wearables like drives and fans.."
I have yet to
ever have a virus in the first place or a hardware failure. Im not going to get into and the details and try to say the Mac is better. What works best for you is better for you and Macs are not for everyone. Of course Macs have problems too, the frequency is far less.
But once you own one for a while you just sort of "get it" so to say. I would not say its an obsession or Macs are soooooo much better. It just Macs do what I want an need well without all the issues a PC can have. Like many say their time is valuable and technology is suppose to make the best use of ones time. I find it funny when my friends complain of driver conflicts or lack thereof.
