Tantrack working....but not all features?

I finally got TanTrack up and running. It was a problem with the OS install that gave it problems. I reinstalled XP and all is well now.

I am just running the demo. TanTrack is supposed to be able to fill out new client info by swiping their drivers license. Also is supposed to pull up clients by swiping the drivers license. Right now its not doing either. Does this feature not work on the demo?

I am using a Cherry Keyboard with integrated card reader. The card reader does work I have already tested it. Anyone have any idea on what could be wrong?

I am really surprised there is no response on this yet. I know Nichesoft posts on this website. I've even PM'ed them and still no response.

Now I am going to question their support for the software. For people who use TanTrack how would you rate their customer service?

I am going to try to call tomorrow. I work evenings and have a three year old that I'm raising by myself so being able to have a quiet phone call is not something that happens to often.

I did not realize Tantrack could pull up people using their license. I think either your keyboard isn't hooked up correctly or it's just not working in demo mode. I am happy with Tantrack customer service for the most part.

its hooked up correctly. I tested it in notepad. It reads the magnetic strip fine.

But that does not mean the software will read it. Not all strip readers are the same.

I hope thats not the case. I think TanTrack sells the Cherry brand keyboards with the card reader.
