TanTrack Demo not working?

I just got my TanTrack demo CD in the mail today. Installed it and then went to load it. It begins to load then give me these errors:

"Run-Time Error '440':
Automation Error"

and then....

"Run-Time Error '0'"

The computer meets the requirements to run it.

Intel Pentium III 730Mhz
256MB of RAM
Windows XP SP2

Anyone have any idea on what the problem is. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it and its still doing the same thing.

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

First, did you call them?

Second, that is one ANCIENT computer. I dont think it even meets the requiremnts of XP!! :) (ya it does, but I would rather saw off a foot!)

You may be able to run it in emulation mode, right click on the program and go to properties or something. Then tell it to run as a windows 98 app.

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

the computer is not that old....it was used as a POS for a store in the mall called Gadzooks. Its a Compaq Deskpro EN so it was made for bussiness use.

I got enough parts laying around to build a faster computer if needed but its not needed.
My XP is modded with NLite and only requires 64megs of RAM to run.

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

and no I have not called them yet. Its kinda late and I just got off work and really don't want to spend an hour on the phone with tech support right now.

We're not changing locations and using this system for another month so I got time....just thought I would ask here 1st before going through the trouble of calling them.

I think their support staff visits this site too

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

Odd. I wonder if some virus software is doing it.... by the way, there is another user here who I think had the same issue today but with SunTouch. Weird.

Do you have the latest updates from MS and such?

But you can try turning of the virus software incase its blocking it.

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

Well I dont think its a requirement issue, very sure is a bad installer disc or Windows is being flaky.

Re: TanTrack Demo not working?

I'm thinking its a corrupt install CD also...I don't know why they don't put the demo on their website to download.
