Suntouch Help
My suntouch won't open up for some reason. Closed it out like normally last night. Came in this morning and computer is on an HP screen I'd never seen, did a restart on it to get that off and now Suntouch displays Improper exit menu. ran a maintenance and nothing. It goes through the motions and gets to about 25% and that's it. Nothing else.
Any ideas. Never had to do a rebulid or anything on it. What can it be?

Re: Suntouch Help
Does it open automatically at start-up? If so, remove it from the start-up items and manually launch it after windows has FULLY booted.
For years Helios opened fine at launch, but as of last week no longer. If it does the windows networking will crash - no network at all. Regedit fails, etc... but if I let it boot then open Helios all is well.

Re: Suntouch Help
Not an auto start up thing. I launch it daily and it will come up with an improper exit menu, asking me to go to tool box and do a maintenence (which I have done 3X) and goes back to the launching screen up to 25% then nothing. Usually it prompts for my ID # and goes to home screen.
Just called IDI and have been on hold for 1 hour finally left messages for them to call me back. Not what I need today...

Re: Suntouch Help
1 hour? I thought Helios was bad. All I can say is good-luck. :(

Re: Suntouch Help
DO you clean out your access files on a regular bases? Have you ever rebuilt your database? I would go through, go into maintenece and delete files (not sure the exact name of the info...i can go to the salon and look if you need me to) this will clean up your database allowing it to run smoother. When you get back in, go in and delete your access files...that will slow down the maintenece a ton if you dont do that very often.

Re: Suntouch Help
I clean the files pretty much every other day. I've never done a restore, will it delete client files or what is on there. I am freaking out here... I don't have a back up at the moment... Long story, business partner took zip drive a while back and didn't bring back.
