Does anyone know how to fix your browser so youtube works with all videos? Thanks

Ummm... mine works fine...

Do you have Quicktime installed? They are re-encoding to H.246 which is a new Quicktime codec. Thats all I could think of. But I have a Mac so things always just work. I should get a PC, I always wondered what it would be like to get a virus ;)

LOL if you know what you're doing you never have to worry about a virus. ;)

I'm not to computer savy why won't you get a virus on Mac?

Simple. They do not exist, the ones that do are just proof-of-concepts. There is no spyware, no viri, nothing.

In all the years I have owned Macs, I have never had a virus. Thats about 18 years of Mac use.

Yet there IS Microsoft Office, Adobe products and any other software you could want.

I just got a new 24" iMac. It is BEAUTIFUL :) (but not as beautiful as Eileen) (gotta stay on her good side... ;) )

if everybody had a mac there would be plenty of viruses for them, it's just no fun to write them for small amounts of users. plain and simple they go after the masses

BTW I have macs and pc's

lots of them lol

That excuse is used a lot, but not true. There are more macs than linux systems, unix systems, etc. Yet those have viri that spread in the wild. Macs make up more than 15% of all home computers.

The truth is the Mac is better made. I am sure someday a virus may get out.

Really is PC users were better learned and Windows was more secure, there would be fewer viruses.

But right now, if you are sick of crashes and viruses and spyware, its simple, get a Mac and save that $40 to $60 a year to "subscribe" to anti-virus software and use it for fun!

"The IT security manager of the University of Otago, New Zealand, has been educating his OS X users in security best-practices. According to Mark Borrie, many Mac users believe they were immune to security problems -- a trap many Mac fans seem to have fallen into. He said around 40 percent of the computers at the uni are Macs. "On the security side of things I reckon the Mac community has yet to wake up to security. They think they are immune and typically have this idea that they can do whatever they want on their Macintosh and run what they like," said Borrie. "If I can get our Mac users up to speed and say 'you are not immune' -- so when [the malware] hits, hopefully we will be pretty safe," he said. "We want to be ready for the first big Macintosh virus -- because it will come. Some day, somebody will say 'I am going to create a headline and write a virus for Mac'," said Borrie."
