DataBase 10000 SunStar out of business

Hi, i need some help desperately. My database 10000 fried this morning. So i purchase a used one from the guy that repairs my beds, but this one has a different type of 'hole' in the back where it says computer/connection. Not a standard phone type plug, smaller and oddly shaped. The phone numbers listed for them (SunStar) on the forum are disconnected, and the website is down. Does anyone know what I am supposed to be looking for so I can hook this to my computer. Money tends to walk out the door in the salon when they can just push buttons to start without the computer. Kind of like a phone cord connector, where you would plug into the wall at home/work. But a mite smaller. Found out this is from 1995, if that makes a difference. Looks like new. Went to Radio Shack and tried to explain this plug, the guy looked at me like I had 3 heads.

I would too. :) The only connector that I know of that "looks kind of like" a phone connector actually looks JUST link one but smaller. RJ11 I think its called. Regular phone is RJ22 and network connectors are RJ45.

Could you take a photo?

I googled Rj11 connectors and dound a site that had pictures of all different connectors. I do believe this needs a mmj connector. Going to try at least

All the connector people I talked to seem to think it is not possible to have a rj12 on one end of the cable and rj12/mmj on the other. So i am going to ship my old Database to FST Co. in Ca. He claims he can fix the fried one, worth a try. Found his info on another one of the post here, thanks whomever posted it.
