Alerts or Memos in SalonTouch

Hi everyone. I'm new here and this is my first post. I have already read some great information on this forum so I'm hoping someone will know if it's possible to do what I am attempting in salon touch. We are offering cash memberships for the people who don't want eft (alot of younger clientèle) but I need salon touch to alert the employees when the client is within one week of their month expiring. I have already setup the package but can't find any options for alerts.. Any ideas? I'm somewhat new at salon touch... Thanks!

Brian

The package turns yellow automatically when it is within a week of needing to renew. I dont think there is a way to set a pop up to tell the employees that it is time to renew.

Turn yellow where? Maybe there is a better way to do this.. The employee needs to know when and how much to charge a client when his month is getting ready to expire..

haha. How can I create auto pop up memos? I don't want it to pop up all the time, only when expiration is close..

Re: Alerts or Memos in SalonTouch

You can do it in the memo section, but that pops up each time.

It turns yellow on the package section of the client profile. It is white when active, yellow when it is coming up for renewal and red for expired. What I have my girls do is look in the customers sales history and see what they have bought in the past.

Let me get this right though, you are letting eft tanners pay cash each month? Doesnt that defeat the entire purpose of discounted tanning? EFT peeps get a discount because we get their money regardless if they tan. If they dont want to have it come out of thier account each month, too bad you pay the month to month price then.

Re: Alerts or Memos in SalonTouch

Yeah I know about memos.. I was hoping there was some auto alert feature I didn't know about. We have two levels of pricing on monthly - one for cash and one for eft - eft gets cheaper rate.

Re: Alerts or Memos in SalonTouch

Nope nothing you can do other than have the girls look at the experation date. If you are selling the package before it expires, make sure you set it so that the first day of tanning starts on the first use, otherwise you will be cheating tanners out of a week or so. That is a pain for tanners that have eft packages but dont use them. You just have to go and delete the unused packages from thier history.

Re: Alerts or Memos in SalonTouch

Thanks eyecandy :)

We decided to nix the month to month cash.. only prepaid 30 60 90 / or eft / or prepaid credits.

We don't really use the appointments so we can check the client info when we check them in from the home/activity screen.
