Suntouch HELP HOw to...virus/worm

Try to contact suntouch and was put on hold forever and day and I need immediate help..so I hope u guys can help.
Yesterday our computer got a High level worm..:( and I need to take the suntouch info to another computer: my laptap.. How can I do this? I have Suntouch Plus and I tried to load it into my computer and upload my backup into the computer it will not let me do it?? As you know I'm afraid this worm is going to wipe out all my clients etc..I did print out my client list and their packages I was able to do that because the worm wouldn't let me copy onto disc..

any help is much appreciated..

can you get onto the internet at all with the pc that is infected? do you happen to use logmein?

No unfortunately...It has put the worm and a virus and a trojan...I'm completely going to have to wipe the whole computer clean! I'm try to find a why to get my clientel base, and other info on suntouch plus...I have so many other things on that computer..I have my back up file from suntouch, but the prob. is we don't know how long this worm has been in the system..?? The pc cillin said it came from a active x file or via email?? Not really sure.. I'm trying to load suntouch on a lap tap..

What is logmein..

do you know how to do a RUN then MSCONFIG and stop all start up items and boot into safe mode?

if so you could download avast to your laptop and burn a cd with it then install it in safe mode on the infected pc. also to show all hidden files you go to My Computer then Tools then Folder Options then VIEW then select show all hidden files.

The show hidden files is probably the most important step. If you can do all this you can save that hard drive.

Hey Eileen, I'm heading into safe mode the user name comes up administor or my name..which do I choose?

I went ahead aran in my persona name and avast is scanning now...will let u know..

Eileen, we put the burned disc in and the only thing it came up was run scan..we did this and it took about 40 minutes. When it was finished scanning, it said it couldn't scan 2 files and then there was not any choices from this scan? exit only..It said there were no virus?? then we exited? Restarted computer and then it was back as a infected computer as it was before we started. No difference..What did we do wrong?
