If it comes down that centrix is the only way to use Helios, then I am going to a different
software package. I will never use centrix, not ever.

I hate to break it to ya folks. But I think that Centrix is the way Helios is going. All your data is going to be snug as a bug right there with ETS! How cozy does that make you feel? Stick with Helios V11 and never upgrade, or start looking elsewhere. The good ole' days of Helios V9 are long gone, and they are never comin' back!

Sun Lync is a joke and going to a hosted solution like Centrix makes perfect sense UNLESS you are paranoid!

As a computer tech person I used to work on files for a client that worked from a parent company in NYC. Their tech support person sold her database to a client near her. It got ugly needless to say and landed in court. I started doing her network security a year after this incident and she had no clue that a tech person was logging into her work pc where all the credit card files were located for for a who's who list of wealthy clients in the region. She didn't understand how important it was that they must ask for a pw to access her pc's and they would go on there early in the morning thinking she wouldn't find out. After being alerted to it and her sitting there one morning watching them go into her files she THEN understood the importance of you being in charge of protecting your clients personal records.

V11 works fine, there is no reason to JUMP to v12. Not having MY files near me and potentially somewhere where someone else can look at them...not my cup of tea!
