Rep Power: 0 | Hair Salon/tanning salon program Is anyone else a tanning/hair salon owner? I purchased tan track over the phonefrom a sales girl and took her word that tan track is the version that I wanted to go with over beauty track. Now I am thinking that I made the wrong purchase b/c I cannot use the appointment book for the hair people. It doesn't allow me to input what their appointments are for like Beauty track would have. However, i do not believe that beauty track does tanning so that one would not work for me either. Now the girl who sold me the software got fired or something and they will not return the software. I have had it only a month. My question is can I sell the software to someone else or not? And secondly has anyone heard of Iris, it looks like it would fit my needs better then Tan Track, Beauty track, Helios, etc. |

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Hair Salon/tanning salon program I think that is wrong. Did you get a demo of tan track before you purchused? How much did you pay for the software? Is it worth the arguement? If so then i would call them back ask to speck to the superviser and inform them that you were mislead to believe that it would work for you and if they don't refund then you will go to the BBB and report them. Most companies don't want that. If they say so Tell them you will contact an attorney and sue them for the amt of the software plus the amt that you have "lost" per say due to the fact that the software doesn't work as the rep from the company said it would. They are still liable for that employee even though she got fired. Depending what state you are in and what state they are in.... Futhermore, the company should give you a refund aslong as they recieve the software back and it is just the ethical thing to do. If you purchused it on a CC or bank then contact them and see what they can do from their side. Alot of the times the bank will reverse the charge and report the company as fruadulant. Hope it helps and stick to your guns!!!!! |

All of us here at Nichesoft work together as a team to make running your business as easy as possible. We do send out fully functional demos of our products to customers before purchase so that they can test out the software and make the appropriate choice. If you have purchased TanTrack and would prefer to switch to BeautyTrack, we are happy to do that for you within 30 days of the original purchase. Just contact our sales department to make arrangements. If you decide not to keep TanTrack or BeautyTrack, you are welcome to sell it to another salon directly, but from what I have read in your post you are able to do what you said you were trying to do.
