Funky Manager Error
So I come in one day last week and my manager was all blank with one 0 inthe 5 display. I removed power and plugged it back in-no problems. Figured we had a powerspike overnight, no worries the rest of the day.
Same thing happened today-same response from me. Looked like it reset no problem. First tanner (happened to be in my stand-up/room 2) goes in and the screen goes crazy and the thing starts chirping erratically at me after the first 4 minutes of the 12min session. No interruption to the tan session. As if the beeps are going off so quickly it sounds like morse code. Again, I unplug the power and it goes nutso again-tons of numbers scroll past, so out with the power again. Seems to be fine for 15 min and then it goes to all blank but display 5 is a 0. Anyone had this happen and what should I do now? Oh, as I'm writing this that 0 in the 5 display turned to an 8. And an "H" keeps popping up next to the #2 display intermittenly. I'm using helios, but I dont' think that's the issue. Edit-3 hrs after I originally wrote this an "H" is the only thing that is on the screen. Tanning sessions are running fine but this can't be normal... |

Re: Funky Manager Error
Have you tried turning off the breaker or power to every timer in each room then power up the manager and power to rooms to let them all reset. I would have helios/timer software turned off while doing it.

Re: Funky Manager Error
Yep, tried that and it's still going crazy. Shut off Helios timer server, turned off breakers to 3as and had manager unplugged. Turned back on 3a breakers, then Helios and then plugged manager. Still funky...
I unplugged the manager over tonight and I'll see what happens when I plug it back in tomorrow. Funny thing is that it still runs the beds, I know that the helios timer server overrides the manager, but obviously something is really wrong. |
