Sun Touch Improper Exit Message

I got this message on my computer today. I followed the directions to perform maintenance, then continued on. Then I got a "Sun Touch Plus could not find the software key. Try removing the key device and then reattachng the key device and reboot. What does this mean? I dont have any key with this? I 've searched the help manual over and over and am at a loss. Can someone help me? This software is version 1.50.17 and I've had it in my salon since 2004 and recently installed it on my home computer. I dont have support service., What should I do? Is my system software bad? thanks for any feedback and help
