Hold EFTs with Helios

Anyone know how this works? My policy is that people can pause their EFT for a period of time with notice. Here are my questions:

1. Do they have to hold it for period of 30 days at a time? Any other stipulations that you've instituted in your salons?

2. Once that hold sales code is used to you need to do anything additional to that account? Anything that needs master edit or will the new amount take over the normal charge?

3. Anyone have a form that they could post here? I also need a form to cancel the EFT program.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Hold EFTs with Helios

What you are referring to as a hold ... Helios calls a Freeze ... just so we are on the same page.

We do not Freeze, since we do not charge a fee while on Freeze and since we do not charge an enrollment fee ... we just cancel the membership and then let them sign up again when they wish.

But the Freeze is fairly simple in Helios ... you will need a Freeze Sales code for each membership you have ... the freeze becomes effective at the START of the next billing cycle. The client will not be drafted until the acct is UNFROZEN.

The UNFREEZE will either happen automatically at the end of the number of months you set when Freezing ... OR ... then you process an UNFREEZE sales code against the clients membership. You will need an UNFREEZE sales code for each level of membership. The UNFREEZE should be set to Prorate (like an OPEN) to activate the membership again IMMEDIATELY.

We also just recently STOPPED printing a form for a cancellation ... instead we set the Cancel Sales Codes to force a Mandatory Receipt ... all the client needs is some proof of cancellation ... and a small receipt is easier to handle than a sheet of paper for the cancellation.

Hope this helps ....
