are you kidding me... I WILL TELL YOU EXACTLY WHAT IT IS GOOD FOR... I can switch between windows in a neat little 3-d fashion!!! and i can go through all my little tabs by looking at little teeny tiny windows of them, and then decide which one i want to open... YAY! oh and i have all these little "gadgets" on my desktop... a clock, a cpu meter, the weather, OH and LITTLE POSTAGE NOTES... so i can leave my mommy little post it notes, like today i left her one that says "msn sucks" and she left me one that said "today sucks"! GREAT FUN!

Ya'all can hate all you want, go ahead and drink your hater-ade! OH... here is one more to suck on... I am currently uploading my 5,008 pictures from my other computer and vista organizes them in their correct positions for me... so if i take a picture vertically, it places it the correct way... it just knows! do you know how hard it has been these past several years to correct them myself during the downloading process, so very time consuming!

i'm sure there is more, i will let you know when they arise!

on the desktop... you can pick out "gadgets", and there are a bunch to choose from... you can even go online and pick out more! i guess just do a search for "gadgets" and see what comes up. OKAY, it is "windows sidebar properties" , so do a search for that and see what all comes up...

I am old and not real happy about changes ya know. But boy this vista is awesome. The only thing i am not happy about (beside the dog) is the new keyboard. It doesn't even click. it is sooooooooooo quiet. the keys feel to close together and i keep hitting the side buttons.

Yeah, all that crap on your desktop EVEN ICONS will slow your PC down to a crawl.

That's the scam. They make then faster BUT the programs just use it up like it didn't even exist.

Also, having all that stuff running doesn't mean it's compatible with your tantrack. Your tantrack PC should ONLY be running tantrack and that's it.

ya'all are just haters! Here you go... I have a dual core somethin' or other... one for tantrack and one for the rest of my life! and i am up and running at the speed of light... got my pc charge, got my tantrack... and my post it notes... all on VISTA! whoo whoo...

I use vista at work and am about to upgrade my PC at work with PC charge and tantrack. I have a feeling it's going to be a pain in the arse.

and i would LOVE to say that tantrack most definitely works with vista... and William was so helpful and patient and helpful again! now, the people at PC charge pretty much took my money and left me hanging (lots of fun trying to figure out all that by myself). There was this really nice guy on the phone that helped me out, led me into a mistake, a time consuming mistake, and then told me he was just a salesman. anyway... back to tantrack... they take you through the upgrade step by step (and do most of it for you) and then you are up and running. And i really like the version that is on there now... neat stuff!

brandy... it turned out to be easy... i just was in a crunch over the weekend and tried to figure it out on my own. right now, it cannot be done without tantrack's help. first you have to call pc charge and make sure you are up to date on your contract with them, then buy there upgrade ($$$), go through the download, installation, and testing of it, and once it works and runs a card... call tantrack... he then remotes into your computer and does it all for you while you watch him on your screen... way cool!
